Tips,
Tricks and Tools
The right tools make all
the difference
Equipment...
Not only will you run into the overwhelming need for images for
images to put on your site, you will typically want to take some
pictures on your own. You can create web pictures by scanning in
photographs taken by a pro, or with your poloroid. You can also
save on film and processing by acquiring your own Digital Camera.
We prefer to use Olympus digital cameras, better optics in our opinion.
You should try to budget around $400-600 for a "good
quality" camera. Other items you will need, include
rechargable batteries and quick charger, smart media memory cards
or Flash cards, and a good case (large enough to carry everything).
You can use RitzCamera.com links for the cameras, but you can
also find excellent deals at Buy.com or Outpost.com. If you want
a local store, Ritz or even Staples have the ability to assist you
with a person to help you make your choices.
Using the web...
Yes this page is oriented like a commercial, but we wanted to get
you to some of the best places to find this equipment. There are
many other stores with digital cameras, but we prefer these. Find
a vendor you will return to. Their rewards programs will help you
save $ in the long run.
